Hi I'm Christopher

I grew up in Idaho, I attend school at Brigham Young University in Hawaii. I love surfing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many hobbies or things I love doing such as almost any sport. I have competed in athletics such as Soccer, Lacrosse, and Basketball. I also love to Ballroom dance and I have learned to play the Piano, Ukulele, and Violin. Currently I am serving a mission to serve the people in Japan and am diligently learning the Japanese language. Before I attended college in Hawaii where I loved to go scuba diving, surfing, or simply visiting the beach from time to time. After my two year mission I wish to return to BYU-Hawaii. The place I grew up was a small town in Idaho so I quickly learned to love the outdoors and anything to do with it. Mainly camping with my family is a favorite outdoor activity because it draws us closer together as a family. I have the hopes of one day becoming a Doctor in Pharmacy because all of chemistry and biology fascinates me. I set the goal to become a doctor at an early age but quickly learned that I could not deal well with all the things that a surgeon might deal with because I easily become quesy so I decided to go into Pharmacy because it sounded like something I could love doing. Currently I have become a Pharmacy technician and also an Emergency Medical Technician for the Ambulance. I set my goals high and do my best to get them accomplished with no fear of failure.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that we have a Heavenly Father because I have felt it in my heart. This is the belief of my faith. I grew up in the Mormon faith since birth but I was never truly committed until I turned 18. From then on I read the Book of Mormon and decided to help my testimony grow. To me a testimony is a personal knowledge of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. One way to help it grow is by sharing it and every time i share mine I feel good inside (The Holy Ghost) which tells me what I say is true. The feelings of peace and joy that have ran through my heart while reading the scriptures/Book of Mormon make me feel that this book is the most true book of any on earth. I cannot deny my faith in Jesus Christ and in the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

Everyday I strive to do my best to serve others around me and to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. By going to church I am continually reminded about my purpose and how it fits in with God's plan for all of us to become happy. I strive to be strong in my faith by attending church on a weekly basis and to also fulfill any callings to me such as home teaching which is helping other assigned members in my church and taking care of their needs individually so that way everyone is taken care of. I do not consider myself perfect in my religion but I try my best to live by standards set by my faith.
