Hi I'm Keri

I enjoy knitting, gardening, learning to play the violin and spending time with my family. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I'm Keri. I enjoy hobbies such as gardening and knitting. I am also interested in learning to play the violin and have taken some beginning lessons. I am now leaving all of these things behind to serve the Lord in the mission field.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I think that I always knew that the church was true, but I think that my testimony really grew when I went to Girl’s Camp, started going to Seminary and when I got to know my best friend, who set such a good example for me. I know that our Heavenly Father answers our prayers. He answers mine every day. And I feel the spirit as I read the scriptures. When I really "feast upon the words of Christ" I feel the spirit and I feel like I am able to learn a lot. When I read this way, I feel like I can understand the scriptures better and I always learn something new.

How I live my faith

I taught children at church for a few years. I had the opportunity to serve in the Nursery for a year and then I was called to teach children in a Primary class. I feel that this has helped me to understand a lot about children and about the basics of the Gospel. This past year, I have had the opportunity to teach the Gospel Essential class, a class that teaches the basic principles of the Gospel to those investigating the church and any members of the church that would like to know more about the basics of the Gospel.
