Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a college Freshman at Utah State, studying Biological Engineering. I love snowboarding, and backpacking. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have taught young men how to be leaders through Cedar Badge- NYLT. I like to snowboard and to be outside backpacking, camping, hiking. I am unsure what I want to do when I "get big" but I love my major. I am loving my first year of college and have awesome friends. I work as a CNA for a Home Health agency in Logan. I just got a mission call to the Scotland/Ireland mission, leaving in May!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had the opportunity to feel the cleansing effect of the Saviors atonement in my life. It has made me a completely different person as I have turned towards Christ. I know that I will never make it back into his loving arms without the help and strength my testimony of this gospel, and our Heavenly Fathers plan of Salvation brings. I know without the members of my church's loving guidance and support, I never would have gone and saught out the atonement Jesus Christ has accomplished for everyone that has ever lived.

How I live my faith

I try to live so that my faith is the center of my life. I have responsibilities to teach other members in my church that are much older than I am on a monthly basis, even when they are out of town and I get to call them on the phone to share the message of hope and inspiration I have prepared. I also have the opportunity to befriend my roommates and to invite them to learn more about the atonement of Jesus Christ and about the restoration of The Church. Every week I plan activities for the young adults in my dorm to bring them closer as friends and also closer to the savior. I love to do research on my family history and to take names to the temple and give them the opportunity to accept the gospel in the Spirit World. I try to be an example to those around and look for ways to serve the small portion of humanity God has given me in my life.
