Hi I'm Moe

I love to ski. I love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up in Utah. I have 5 sisters. Two of my sisters have disabilities, one with Trisomy 18 and the other with Downs Syndrome. I love anything outdoors, except for camping. Sleeping in a tent is not my thing. Learning things new and old is very fun for me. I'm a senior majoring in Public Health with a minor in International Development. My end goal is to be a Nurse Practitioner and create sustainable health clinics in Africa. For the next 18 months I will be serving a mission in Jamaica.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in a home where my parents were active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, as I reached my teenage years I realized I needed to know for myself that the beliefs taught in this church were what I wanted to follow. Through prayer and study I have come to know for myself. Continuing revelation, personal and for the church as a whole, is very important to me. It has always been comforting to know that my Heavenly Father is investing time in bringing His children back to Him. I have seen the blessings and miracles that come from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the peace that I feel.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being around other people. I volunteer at a free medical clinic. I have been involved with programs that provide help to relocated refugees along with other humanitarian operations. In my neighborhood I help with girls 8-12 in organizing recreational activities that teach values and life skills.
