Hi I'm Richard Clark

I'm a registered nurse, a husband, and a father of 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the 3rd child of 9 children (8 boys in a row, and then finally a sister). I grew up in the LDS faith. I am a registered nurse and I now work as a nurse manager of a dialysis center. My wonderful wife and I have have 3 children. I love the outdoors and I like to hike. I enjoy sports of all kinds, and I also enjoy photography and art. We have loved taking road trips with our family to see the United States.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I found out for myself that Jesus Christ leads this church through a living prophet. I found this out through many prayers to my Heavenly Father, and he answered me. I have also been protected and blessed greatly by living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that the most important parts of Christ's gospel that I need to live daily are faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of my daily wrongs. It is also trying to love God and my fellow man. I have found peace and happiness by living these principles.

How I live my faith

I try to live the gospel of Jesus Christ by the way that I treat other people and by personal standards of conduct. I serve others by creating friendships with my neighbors. I have also served the youth quite a bit through the Boy Scouts of America, where we can instill high standards of living and create a love of hard work and the outdoors.

Are Mormons Christians?

Richard Clark
I am a Christian, as are all Momons. I know that I can only be saved through Jesus Christ's sacrifice for my sins in the Garden of Gethsmane and his crucifixion and resurrection. I try to follow his teachings in my life, including living the two great commandments, to love God and my fellow man, as Jesus Christ taught. I feel a need for peace in my life which only comes through repentance and the forgiveness of my sins and wrongs. That forgiveness can only come through faith in Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
