Hi I'm Manfred Weser

There is no better work to do than that that the Lord has in store for us!

About Me

I Love sports, music, food, girls and Service! I love being active, but more specifically PROactive. I have done a semester at college and now I'm waiting to go serve a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know that this Gospel is true. I have had many times in my life where I thought that living a worldly life would be much easier, but I have already felt the spirit of God testify that this Gospel is true and to deny that would not be the wisest thing in the world. I love reading the scriptures, praying, and going to church. It helps me draw nearer to my Heavenly Father. I know His will and I understand what he wants me to do! I am but one person, but "the worth of every soul is great in the sight of God."

How I live my faith

I believe that the most important principle and the most powerful one at that, is Love. Pretty much everything about Christs ministry is about Love. When you Love everyone around you life becomes so much better. You can feel the spirit and you can't help but share that love with everyone you meet. We all want to help out people, but we don't know where to find people in need. Just walk out your door and you'll find them. There are always people that need our help and they are everywhere. Just walk around downtown in the city you live in, it will surprise you. It surprised me!!

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Manfred Weser
We are not perfect and therefore we need Grace otherwise how can we return to our Heavenly Father? In Ephesians 2: 8-9 it says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Some people take that scripture as justification of why we don't need works to be saved, but that is not what Paul is trying to say. Grace is a gift that is given to us from God and it is true that works will not save us without Grace, but in that first part of the scripture it says that "by grace are ye saved through FAITH". We have to give our faith in that Gift of grace that we are given, but you also have to remember that in James 2: 17-18 it says that faith without works is dead. So if we don't do works then we don't really have Faith, and if we don't have Faith then how can we have the gift of grace? Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Manfred Weser
Yes! ''Every member a missionary!'' You don't necessarily have to go on a two-year proselyting mission, but everybody around us needs to draw nearer to Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and that is exactly what missionaries are there for. You can be helping a nonmember or a less active or even an active member. None of us are not in need of help. Show more Show less
