Hi I'm Brett

I live in Everett and work on cars and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Brett. I'm a hardworking guy who likes working on cars and doing outdoor stuff like camping, shooting, hiking and biking. I work a dead end job but that's okay because I plan on going on a mission, going back to school and getting a career in psychology. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parent's that practiced the Mormon faith. I grew up with it and knew it was true. But I didn't feel it in my heart when I reached my late teens, I grew bitter and stopped attending church. Later, I didn't like who I was or how I felt so I started going back to church and found my testimony, that Jesus Christ is my savior, that God the Father loves me. I have felt in my heart a change, I am no where near perfect, but I love myself and those around me. I am Mormon because I have felt it change who I am and I want to share that with the world.

How I live my faith

I love going to church on Sunday. But I also get to go on Monday for WHE, which is like family night for all the single people in my ward. I am also an Activities Committee member, I get to plan activities and organize the fun for my friends. I am also a Ward Missionary which means that I get to go and visit my friends who haven't been out to church in a while.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I love the night sky. The stars are a testament to me of God. That He exists and that among all His creations, the staggering size of the universe, He looks down and knows me. That He is watching over me. The beauty of the earth when we really get out into nature Show more Show less
