Hi I'm Landon Wilson

I have lived in Utah all my life. I have a family of 8. I love my Father in Heaven and my Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports, but my favorite sport is soccer. I have been all across the country playing soccer. In the winter I enjoy snowboarding. I love to travel the world. I have visited for long periods of time Fiji, Mexico, Brazil (twice for soccer) and a lot of the United States. I have a Mexican boy living with me, and it is the greatest blessing ever. I love my family with all my heart. I enjoy meeting new people and love to make them feel important. I am graduating from high school in May, 2013, and I will be going to college after my LDS mission. School and education are very important to me, and I have learned to not take them for granted. I have achieved my Eagle Scout. I have 2 nieces and 1 nephew. I find that I am the most happy when I make others happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church. My parents have always been such an amazing example to me of strong members of this church, and I feel so blessed to have been born with my parents and this church. All my life I have put all my efforts into growing closer to God. I love Jesus Christ and God with my entire heart. I know that I am nothing without God, and that he knows me personally. Since He knows me, and you, personally He knows exactly what I need in life. He has a perfect plan for me. I know that anything is possible through God and that there is nothing He wants more than to be merciful and bless me. I know with all the passion in my soul that the Book of Mormon is the word of God; Another Testament of Christ. It goes hand in hand with the Holy Bible. I know that prayer is powerful, and God does listen. He listens to every bit our care and sorrow in our hearts. If I ask, with complete faith, I know that if its the Lord's will, it will be done. I have a firm belief that God does put certain people in our lives, for a specific reason. He cares. He knows me. He loves me. And I love him. Christ will always be my redeemer and my greatest example. I strive to become like Christ every single day. Christ will never forget me, or you. He is aware of everything in my life. I know that I will be blessed if I declare truthfulness of this Gospel. I KNOW that this is the Lord's one and only church. I know that it is 100% true, and that He is guiding and leading as the head of the LDS church. I know this with all my heart, and will never waiver from this. I have an unbreakable faith in our God. This church is true.

How I live my faith

I teach 2 families in my ward each month. I have grown to love them so much, and look forward each month to teach them. I have a Mexican boy that lives with me that my parents have guardianship over, and he is not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I take every opportunity to teach him about the LDS church. He is really starting to receive my message extremely well. I have learned from him that even though he is not LDS he can teach me a lot in life. He is an amazing young man, and is a constant example of Christ-like attributes. I strive to be an example for him every day in every single way. I served on my Stake Youth Council. On this council I planned all the youth activities for my area, including: dances, youth activities, spiritual meetings and summer parties. These activities are extremely enjoyable and really helps people get to know each other through these things. I have amazing friends. We strive to encourage each other to live strong to our faith. We share spiritual experiences that have strengthened our lives and brought us closer Christ. I have really learned the importance of good friends. They are my biggest influence that give me the desire to teach them what I know to be true, and learn what they know to be true.
