Hi I'm Sierra

I am a California girl. I love Technical theater, doing service, and making new friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love children and have been baby-sitting since I was nine years old. I have been a theater kid my whole life and have recently decided to be a Theater Major with a Technical Emphasis and become a Theater Teacher in the future. I love doing service for people, hanging out with my friends and going on adventures. At some point in my life I would like to travel the world! I am a movie-a-holic!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up as a Christian Baptist and attended church with my mom, sister, and any various family members. When we stopped going to church I felt like apart of me was missing. I had friends that were LDS in my classes. I asked my friend Jessica for one of the pass-along cards and she told me if I had any questions to talk with her. I did and then I finally got the courage to ask my friend Austin from Technical Theater about more information. I was invited to dinner with the missionaries and Austin started picking me up for church every Sunday morning. I loved the missionary lessons. I was not sure what I was feeling at the time, but I knew they knew what they stood for I was completely taken at this point. I wanted to keep the happy feeling with me forever and never lose it. At the end of the meeting I decided I would stand up and tell all of the kids that I loved coming to church and I thoroughly enjoyed everything they had to say. I said I wanted that and explained the happy feeling I had with them as best I could. When school was over, I still continued with the missionary lessons, church, and family home evening. I went to Girls Camp with Jessica and that was an experience all in itself. I made friends and instantly felt like we had been friends forever, I was so comfortable around them. Eventually we finished the missionary lessons and My mom, sister and I were all baptized on September 4, 2010. Now, I attend Brigham Young University-Idaho and I love it!

How I live my faith

When I first joined the church I started out participating in all of the youth activities and going to all of the dances. I really enjoyed being in Young Women with all of the 12-18 year old girls and learning about them. My senior year I was on Youth committee and helped plan all of the church dances for the 14-18 year old youth in my area. After I graduated high school I was called to work in the Junior Nursery, until I left for Brigham Young University-Idaho.
