Hi I'm Kayla

I grew up in the Northwest, I love the outdoors, I'm an avid reader and music listener, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from the beautiful state of Washington. I love to be outside enjoying the nature around me, whether it be hiking, camping, snowshoeing, whatever; being able to see what God has created as our surroundings is a huge blessing. Family is also a big part of my life, doing anything with them is great because they are the best family anyone could wish for. Other interests of mine are reading and listening to music. I also really enjoy watching movies and eating awesome food.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe with all my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for me as he did for all, and because of that the Atonement is made real and can be used in my life. I was born into the church, and I stay strong in the gospel because of the testimonies and faith of my parents and those who have influenced me for the better. I know that we are led today by a living prophet who guides us by the continuing revelation by God. The Book of Mormon is true, and Joseph Smith translated it and brought about he Restoration of the gospel for this day. I am a Mormon because of all these things, and because I know without a doubt that my Savior loves me and wants me to be the best that I can; and this is only made possible through my belief and testimony in Christ and His restored church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church regularly every Sunday. I try to set a good example for those around me by dressing modestly and using clean language. Studying the scriptures, reading talks by the leaders of the church, and praying help me to keep my faith strong and active.
