Hi I'm Aly Stephenson

I live in Ogden, Utah. I will be serving the Lord in the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia mission leaving May 1st, 2013. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending Weber State University in Utah and I am anxiously waiting to leave on my mission to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have grown up playing sports including volleyball, soccer and track throughout junior high and high school. I am also involved in music and have been since I was very little. I love to sing, play the piano, flute, guitar and ukulele. I enjoy eating chocolate, making smoothies, camping, game nights, drinking Rootbeer, going to the temple, singing in choir, and lots more. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot imagine my life without my faith. This church has a huge focus on the importance of families. My family is a huge part of my life and they have helped shape my life for good. They have brought me up with good morals and values which has helped increase my love for this gospel. I am a part of the LDS church because I have come to know for myself that it is true and by living the commandments I will and have been blessed more than I can explain. The guidelines are there to keep me safe and without them I can't imagine where I would be. I am able to improve my life little by little each day so that one day I can become like my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I feel such joy and peace knowing I can repent and grow. I am so blessed to have always been a Mormon and I know that it is the true gospel of Jesus Christ restored by a prophet on the earth in these latter days.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday where I enjoy meeting with my neighbors and friends, and learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love visiting the sisters in my ward because they bring so much good into my life. I enjoy going to the temple whenever I can. It is a place where I learn more about this church and how I can improve my life, and it is a place where I can find peace and the worries of the world do not come inside with me.
