Hi I'm Gordon

I'm from Maplewood, Minnesota. I love sports. I am a Servant of the Lord! And I'm a Mormon!!

About Me

Hello my name is Gordon. I lived most of my life in Minnesota and then moved out here to Utah my junior year of high school in 2010. I played football for the Timpview Thunderbirds and that is really my passion. I plan on attending college after i serve a two year full-time mission for the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i have found that by living by the principles of this gospel and by studying the doctrine in my short time here on earth so far i have found the greatest happiness that i have found nowhere else. I haven't always felt so strong about the gospel and sometimes waver but when i do things are harder. I can tell when I am not totally focused on what the Lord wants me to do things go wrong or theres just a feeling that something is missing, but when i try and humble myself and stay true to what i have been taught, even tho things aren't always perfect i can feel a peace knowing that if give everything to the Lord he will give everything in return.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best example i can be wherever i go. It's not always easy and sometimes i stray a bit but the Lord is always there to help me back on the path. I have recently been called as the young men's secretary in my branch. It it kinda weird being over kids that just a few months ago i was in the same class as but i try my best. One of the biggest influences and strengths I have gained since becoming an elder is my elders quorum. They are all a lot older than me but they are cool and try to help my feel welcome. I love to listen to what they have to say in our lessons because i learn so much just from their own experiences and knowledge that they have gained over the years.
