Hi I'm Mo

I was a Roman Catholic by default; chose to upgrade as a Mormon in 1989.

About Me

I am a Latter Day Saint and I believe in the Book of Mormon. I look up to Jesus Christ as my Saviour, identify myself as a daughter of Heavenly Father who loves all of His children that is us in this mortal existence and the Holy Ghost the Revelator of such divine truth.

Why I am a Mormon

Generations has it that God exist and I marvelled at His creation as I grew older. Traditions hinted about Christ redeeming sacrifice even school taught about Divinity. Somehow there has always been something lacking and I have felt a void that I wanted to fill. People around me were talking about Christianity, even claimed to be so. I had questions in my head that clamoured for answers. The Book of Mormon cleared my confusion. The book helped me know Our Father in Heaven and Our Saviour Jesus Christ. I also know who I am, and my purpose of being here on Earth. The knowledge help me understand what is expected of me and therefore I know I can be a better servant, a better person a true Christian. I am a Mormon because being so gives me peace and assurance that I am doing Our Heavenly Father's will and for that I am happy to be here.

How I live my faith

I am not perfect but I live my faith by trying to be what I learned my Heavenly Father wants me to be. Each day I wake up confronting my weaknesses, finding strength through prayers, reading the scriptures, putting my eternal perspective at the centre of my chosen career, my daily interaction with people, in every opportunity of exercising choices even as I listen to inspirational songs that put me to sleep. I have realised that many times I failed in my thoughts, my words and in my actions but in humility I get back to my God to ask forgiveness and try again. I accept church callings knowing that it is for my own growth and development.
