Hi I'm Scott Craig

I'm a swimmer, I'm an artist, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now my name is Elder Craig! I am serving a mission in the Salt Lake City South Mission! I swam for my high school, and hope to swim eventually in college. I love to play and listen to music, make art, and learn new things! I will be studying at BYU soon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my family, which has been Mormon since before I was born. However, one cannot be a Mormon just because their family is. Conversion has to happen individually and personally, and has only gradually in the past few years. I credit my conversion to daily scripture and prayer, as well as early morning seminary. I am a Mormon because I want to be, and because it is the right thing to do. Sometimes my family will visit other churches, in order to see what others believe. I can recognize a lot of truth in other churches, but it is visible that some thing is missing. I am a Mormon because my church feels complete, as if I can see a whole picture of Christ, while in other churches I can only see part of the picture. I am a Mormon because it is all about serving and helping others. As a Mormon, I feel genuine happiness when I know that I am living Christ's teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by finding joy in sharing it. I certainly am not perfect, but I know I'm on the right path; I try to invite as many as I can to know the faith and follow it! I Study God's word through canonized books of scripture, the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and revelations through modern prophets. I rely on prayer and on feeling the Holy Ghost, especially during sacrament services on Sundays.
