Hi I'm Margo

I love music. I love to do service and be with people. I like to laugh and smile. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel and see what the world. I love spending time with my family. I have a sister and three brothers. We have so much fun together. I like to see new and interesting things around the world and learn from others. I am currently going to school and I am a Sociology major. I love working with people! I love to sing and attempt to play musical instruments like piano, flute and ukulele. I love to read and doodle. I am currently serving a mission in Brazil for the next 18 months!

Why I am a Mormon

My family have been members of this church for many generations. Although it was something I was able to do, when I was eight years old I had the option of becoming a member. I choose for myself to become a member after reading the Book of Mormon and praying I felt warm and happy. I knew this church was true and I wanted to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I have got to work with lots of different groups of people. I have worked with the youth and organizing uplifting activities. I have had the opportunity to teach lesson in church to the other women in my area. It is such a great opportunity, although they learn form me I know I learn much more through what they say and through my study. I have also had the ability to help with music, both leading and singing in choir. Although there is a lot of service in our church meetings. I strive to do my best daily in how I live. Now I am serving a full time mission in Brazil teaching about the Christ and his gospel. I think this is a wonderful opportunity because I have seen the happiness it has brought to my life and not I get to share it with others every day!

In whom should we have faith?

We believe that we should have Faith in Jesus Christ. This is the first principle of the gospel. We are commanded that we need a faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Without our faith in Jesus we cannot be saved. Faith in Christ enables us to know good from evil. Every man has the right to know this through the promise from God, that when we ask in Christ’s name we can find the good through the spirit. If we seek out the good and with our faith we are enabled to lay hold on every good thing. Show more Show less
