Hi I'm Angela Carrigan

I love music, sports, Color Guard and going to college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am your typical 20 year old. I go to college at BYU and I am involved in the Color Guard. If you ever watch a football game and see all these people in uniforms marching on the field before, at halftime and after the game that is what I do. I have participated in Color Guard for 5 years now and it never gets old. Color Guard is when we spin flags and rifles and sabres to the music of the Marching Band. We make them look good! It is a blast to be a part of something that just makes you feel good about yourself for accomplishing something hard like a quad on the rifle or toss turn around on the flag. I may not play an instrument in the Marching Band, but music is such a big part of my life. I play the piano, violin, organ, sing, and I am constantly listening to my ipod. I also come from a family that is huge into sports. I have played softball, soccer, and some football with the cousins. I am constantly on the go with different things keeping me busy, but I never can get enough time with my family and my friends. They mean the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I have been very blessed to have five generations of family that have been raised in the church. I have relied on my parents and sisters testimonies while growing up, but I have learned for myself that the chruch is true. I know that God lives and understands all that we are going through. I am a Mormon not because I have to be but because I want to be. It brings me so much joy and peace knowing that I will never be alone in my journey throughout my life. My Heavenly Father has given me a plan to follow throughout my life with simple things to keep me on the right path, and the knowledge that there is more life after death. This knowledge gives my life more purpose. I know that if I stay faithful and obedient to the guidlines that i have been taught, I can live a very happy life and I will be able to live with my family for eternity. I love this gospel and it has blessed my life in many ways.

How I live my faith

My life has been devoted to helping others and to show others that there are people out there that want to listen and just be friends with. I am a very outgoing person and I love to make friends. Through the years of different apartments, different wards, and different towns, I have been able to make friends and to be there for others even if it is something little as asking how their day is. I have had a turn in my life recently and I have decided to go on a mission to serve as a missionary. I have been called to Atlanta, Georgia and have not been as excited as I am now to go serve the wonderful people in Georgia and to help them know that God lives and loves us and does have a plan for each of us.
