Hi I'm Elder Larsen

I grew up in Utah. I love to hang out with my friends. I was called to serve in Mozambique. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Colorado, I grew up in Utah, and now I again live in Colorado and will graduate from high school here. I love to play sports! I golfed my freshman and sophmore year. Then I moved to Colorado and played football. I got hurt and had to have shoulder surgery. I love to mess around with my friends. We have done some crazy stuff like jumping off a bridge into a river and gone off the alpine bike jump. I also like to watch movies. I recieved my mission call this week and am going to Mozambique. I am excited to serve. After my mission I am going to go to BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into the gospel. I am eternally grateful to my grandpa for joining the church. The church provides so much more protection for me. I am so much more happy than I would be with out the church. It is my choice to be in the church. My parents don't make me go. It brings me closer to God and Christ and that is the ultimate goal in life. And that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. I am in no way perfect, but I strive to be a better person every day. I try to do what is asked of me. I have served as a president of deacons, teachers, and first assistant in priests quorum. I have helped plan a youth conference. I have been called to serve in the Mozambique Mapotu Mission. I am excited to serve and can't wait to get out there and teach people and share my testimony with them, and serve them in any way I can.

What is being a Mormon like?

Elder Larsen
Being a Mormon is normal. We are all human and we all make mistakes. The Church focuses on families and creates a safe environment to have fun. It gives us guidlines that keep us safe and focused on the important things in life. The gospel also makes me happy by coming closer to Christ. Show more Show less
