Hi I'm Karl

I go to school at BYU, I'm going on a mission to Sao Paulo Brazil, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn. Junior year of high school I started homeschooling to take responsibility for learning into my own hands. I served as a Senate Page for the Idaho senate and enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the Idaho state government. I love to run. In high school I was a runner, and did both cross country and track & field. This love led me to be successful in races across the United States. I love outdoors. I kayak, hike, play. If it's outside, I like it. I love my friends. To be with my friends. This brings me a lot of happiness becuase they lift me up and help me focus my thoughts on the positives of life. I love my family. Throughout my life, they've always been there with me. Learning through trials. Felling the joys of life. Helping each other in all seasons and places.

Why I am a Mormon

Im a Mormon because Having grown up in the church, its doctrines and principles have been taught to me since I was a child. But I have found in my own life that when I live the principles and apply the doctrines of this church, I am happier. I see the good in the world around me. I have hope. When I despair, Christ comes to mind, He gives me hope when no other hope is there. I have love. God lets me feel a small part of His love for His children. And I feel His love for me. In love comes many good things.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, I try to be like Christ. I serve a mission and bring others unto Christ. I learn of truths. I share these truths. I testify of truth. I love others. And I serve them because of this love. Sometimes it's hard to love a person. But here is faith, to have faith that God loves them just like he loves another. To serve them in a faith of God and of his love for them. There's always a way to serve. A way to help someone in need. Most of the time, they don't realize they're in need. I look for oppurtunnities, God shows me what they need.
