Hi I'm Bryce

I grew up in Utah. I love reading. I love the Outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the Outdoors, and am an Eagle Scout. I enjoy classical and inspirational music, and am teaching myself to play the Piano, and played the Violin for three years of Junior High. I swam for two years in my High School swim team and love to be active in sports, hiking, and general outdoors activities. I love to read, and keep a daily journal. I enjoy learning new skills, and love dogs, animals and nature. I enjoy the Sciences, and specifically Astronomy, Geology, and Zoology. For my Eagle scout project I gathered over 300 donated eye glasses to give to an optometrist to distribute in the West Indies. I enjoy volunteer work and service. I love to build or create things and have made a mosaic topped nightstand that took over 70 hours and won first place in a State 3-D art competition.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who had the knowledge of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, and was raised upon its principles and teachings. My parents have always given us our free choice in following the teachings of the gospel, and encouraged us to find out the truth for ourselves through prayer and through striving to follow the gospel. I bare testimony that when we show our Father in Heaven that we are willing to follow his teachings and his gospel, and have a sincere desire to know of its truth, we will receive confirmation through the Holy Spirit that it is true. As I have diligently strived to follow this gospel's teachings, and through sincere effort and prayer I have gained a personal testimony truth of this Church. I know it is the only true Church on the Earth, and I know and have felt the great joy that can come only through the knowledge of this truth and in following its teachings. I have a strong testimony of the truth of The Book of Mormon as being another Testament of Jesus Christ. Today, I love going to Church for three hours every Sunday, and wouldn't trade anything in the World for it. The spirit I feel at church and the conformation of the truth of this gospel I gain brings me a greater joy that I have ever felt, and know I can feel elsewhere. It brings me great joy and peace in knowing we have a loving heavenly father and that he has a plan where we can come and live with him again.

How I live my faith

I have been a youth group president and am serving as a first assistant in the 16-18 age group. I have enjoyed spending time and making friends with my leaders and young men and in striving to help us come closer to Christ. I strive everyday to live by the Spirit and be an example. I know the joy that this true gospel brings and look for opportunities to share my testimony and knowledge with others. I strive to progress everyday in serving more, and in developing Christ-like attributes.I have now been called to serve a full time mission and am diligently preparing to serve the people of Mexico.
