Hi I'm Maggie Jordan

I'm from Utah and recently returned from serving in the Uruguay Montevideo West Mission. Hoy es el día.

About Me

I'm an English: Creative Writing major and am planning on pursuing a master's degree in Social Work. I plan on being a writer and helping people find inner peace, guidance, and lasting joy by making correct decisions and coming closer to God. I want to help them feel more strongly of His enduring love. Today is the day to learn more about Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of this Church because I found out for myself that it is true. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and that he hears and answers every single prayer. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he suffered and atoned for each of us that night in Gethsemane. I know that Joseph Smith saw God our Father and Jesus Christ, and that the Book of Mormon is a result of that sacred First Vision. I know that today is the day to stand up or what we believe and spread the word. God loves us and knows us individually - He desires more than anything that we return to live with Him again. And I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I teach the four-year olds every Sunday in church and serve as a choir pianist in my ward. I take institute classes up on campus and keep trying to spread the word that God lives and loves us and answers prayers.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Maggie Jordan
A savior does for one what one cannot do for oneself. A savior saves us. Jesus Christ is our Savior because He did for us what we couldn't do for ourselves. He saved us from the inability to repent and be forgiven. Thanks to Him, we can be forgiven of our sins! Thanks to Him, we can start fresh after we've made mistakes. We can return to live with God if we choose to follow Him. He's already payed the price. Show more Show less
