Hi I'm David Clark

I am a student studying exercise science at Brigham Young University and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with my 5 siblings in New Hampshire. I enjoy running, mountain biking, snowboarding, and playing Frisbee. I spent two years on my life serving as a missionary in Peru and learned the joys that can come from learning to love and serve others and see the change that the gospel can make in peoples lives. I volunteered as an EMT for several years and love the satisfaction that comes from helping others in need. These experiences have contributed to my desire to become a physician. I am now working at this goal as a student at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply put, I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who cares for me as his son. The gospel includes guidelines from a loving Father to help me receive the most joy I can in this life and after death. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book that testifies of Christ because when I read it I feel a love, comfort, and reassurance that can only come from God. Having the gospel in my life helps me to accept trials and turn to the Lord for help. When I trust in the Lord it makes me stronger and I grow closer to him.

How I live my faith

I strive to follow the commandments that my Heavenly Father has put in place for me. By obeying the council of the prophet I feel happy and free. Making my family a priority in life has helped me to build loving relationships and a firm foundation and consistency in my life. Ultimately the Savior is my strongest foundation. By attending church on Sunday, reading modern day revelation from the prophets, praying, ready the scriptures, and striving to serve others, I find the most joy in my life.
