Hi I'm Andrew Simonds

I love good food, I love soccer and water polo, and most importantly, I am a Mormon!

About Me

I like to play water polo, quidditch(yes, like in Harry Potter), and swim. I am currently serving a Mission and it has been the best time of my life so far. I am currently in the MTC, but I can't wait to get to Japan and serve everyone. I love this Gospel. It has really improved my life, and is one of the biggest reasons I am happy. This gospel IS TRUE! I have such a testimony of the Gospel, and I love living it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I did what Alma 32 tells me to do. I performed an "experiment" upon the words of the Book of Mormon, and I can't deny that it made my life better. I am not perfect, and I still struggle with things, but I am getting better. I am sure that I can always rely on the Lord, and He has never let me down. If I am patient in waiting for blessings, they always come. But never as I expect them to. I am a Mormon because I love the Book of Mormon, and the peace that I feel when I read it. I have felt the Spirit touch my soul , and I can't deny that this is true. I want to spend the entirety of my life serving the Lord, and finding out more and more that this Church is true. I find that out more and more every day.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by trying to become more like my Savior, and follow His example. I am trying to love everyone around me as though they were my siblings, because they are, and it has helped me so much. I still have my trials, but I continue to love the Lord, and do what He wants me to do in all that I do.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Andrew Simonds
"The Book of Mormon prophet Alma compared faith to a seed. If you plant a seed and nourish it, if it is a good seed it will grow and eventually bear fruit (Alma 32:28-43). It is the same with faith. If you are obedient to God’s commandments, study His word, and have a desire to believe in Christ, faith will grow inside of you." This is the Official Church Answer, but I personally have tried and tested it, and know it to be true. If you want to know that this will help your faith grow, then try it. Show more Show less
