Hi I'm Haley

I've lived in Utah my whole life. I love to play tennis, watch chick flicks, and to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Haley. I'm 19 years old and I love life. My favorite thing to do is to laugh and I laugh at anything and everything even if its not funny. When I start its hard for me to stop. I have 3 sisters and a mom and a dad. I love my family and since we only have girls in my family besides my dad it is a party every day. I'm in college right now working up to being a 2nd grade teacher. I love kids and feel that it is important to have fun while you learn. I also love to play tennis and was on my high school girls tennis team all three years. Playing tennis helps me feel better about life, it is kinda like my get away from the world. Before tennis I had zero hand-eye coordination and it took me a year to even beable to hit the ball. Now that I'm semi-good it feels awesome to hit the ball over the net with speed and get an ace. The best feeling ever. I love to watch chick-flicks and feel like you should always have a bowl of popcorn while watching them. I love life and cant wait to see what i have waiting for me in the future! :)

Why I am a Mormon

During my junior year and the beginning of my senior year of high school i had a hard time with friends. I didn't feel loved by them or wanted. Pretty soon I didnt feel like i had any friends. It was the first time in my life that I had ever had this feeling because I had always had really good friends. I hate being alone and it seemed like I was all the time. At that time I let Christ in for what seemed like the first time in my life. I told God all that I was going through and He really listened, He reminded me that Christ knew exactly how I was feeling. He became my best friend that day, He is the only one in my life that knows me and loves me perfectly. The summer before my senior year I had tennis practice almost everyday. There was alot of cute fun girls on the team and my mom told me that I should start inviting them over. I did and it has been the best thing I have ever done. Those girls are now some of my closest friends, with them I always feel loved and wanted. They make me want to be a better person and are always lifting me up. I am happier than I have ever been and I know it is because of God and the love He has for me. I know that He gives us trials to help us better become the kind of person He wants us to be and I love Him for that. I am leaving on an LDS mission to California in a few weeks and I am so excited to share with others the love Heavenly Father has for them and to bring them the happiness that I have. Life is amazing and I feel that if we are always optimistic and have the right desires in our hearts we can live with out regrets and can have joy.

How I live my faith

I love the church and how it helps people. I think that knowing that someone cares about you and is thinking about you can brighten you day. For my church I call and see if the girls have done their visiting teaching. I try to help them know how important it is for them to visit the girls they are assigned to. I am also leaving really soon to be a missionary for my church. I cant wait to get out there and serve others and help them know their self worth and know how much God loves them and how much Christ has done for them.
