Hi I'm Dallin

I'm from California. I play the trumpet. I speak German. I'm a missionary. I went to BYU-Idaho studying business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids. I am a sophomore in college but at the moment taking a break and serving as missionary for the church in the Germany Frankfurt mission. I love to play the trumpet. I have a passion for the fine arts such as music and theatre. I enjoy singing, swimming, exercising, and socializing with friends. I enjoy making new friends and like being the life of the party. I love to joke around and have fun with just about anyone. I love Germany and I love speaking German. Das Leben ist einfach schön!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church with two strong members as parents. They raised me attending church each week and letting me know the things I needed to do. I am grateful to them for introducing me to such a wonderful church and for giving me the opportunity to grow up in it. While it was natural to be apart of the church because of how I was raised I did decide I wanted to know for myself whether it was really was true so that's exactly what I did. I studied and pondered and thought for myself. There came a point where I distinctly remember as a teenager pondering my beliefs and wondering if everything I had been taught was true. I then received the prompting to get down on my knees and pray. I did and simply asked if it was true and if He was there. I almost immediately felt the Holy Spirit testify to me of the truth. No words can describe the overwhelming feelings of peace, joy, comfort, and love I felt after. I knew without a doubt that what I had been taught my whole life and that what i would continue to learn about was the absolute truth. That belief has remained with me ever since and has only motivated me more to follow in Christ's gospel for the rest of my life. The church has blessed me in an unfathomable amount of ways and continues to do so daily. I have come to know that no matter what I have a Heavenly Father and a Savior who love me infinitely and only want me to be happy. This has brought me comfort in the most difficult of times and I am eternally grateful for that knowledge. I hope that others can feel what I have and come to know what I have found to be true which is why I want to be a missionary and can't wait to share that same message of truth with others.

How I live my faith

I strive to actively live my faith by getting involved inside church and also by sharing to those who do not know much about it. Growing up I served in different youth leadership positions and would strive to bring together the youth of the church to have fun. I was actively involved on activity committees and enjoyed planning many youth activities with those around me. As I got older I began to love teaching. I have had the opportunity in church to teach a lesson each week out of the scriptures and love all that I am able to learn by doing so. I get involved in many church service projects to help out around my community and whenever the opportunity arises I share my beliefs with my friends. Like I've said before i will soon be serving a mission for the church in Germany and couldn't be more excited.
