Hi I'm Kelsey Durrant

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am soon to be a missionary in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was previously a student at Brigham Young University and a Psychology major. I aspire to get a Marriage and Family Therapy Masters degree. I am the youngest of six siblings and I enjoy playing tennis and golf. I have been called to the Buenos Aires South, Argentina mission and I will leave the MTC on July 16th to serve my Lord and Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS faith. So I guess you could say it was just natural to be a Mormon. But as I've matured into my own independent self, I became a Mormon because I found out for myself that it is absolutely true. Through faithfulness in my church attendance, exploration of the scriptures, and prayer I am a Mormon because it gives me immense happiness and inspires me to give that happiness to others.

How I live my faith

My faith is just as much a part of me as my leg or my heart. I am, however, no where near my best self. I still have a lot of work to do to become more like Jesus Christ. But it's still a part of me. It will forever be there encouraging me and enlightening me. I love it, I need it, I cherish it. It's the most beautiful thing in the world and I make it a part of me. Wherever I am called, I will go.
