Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Southern California. My passion is music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids, I love my siblings with all my heart. Even though I'm a born and raised Southern California girl some people still ask me where my accent came from, I tell them I have no idea. I love to sing and am currently trying to learn how to play the piano. My hopes for going to college is that I receive a Bachelors in Nursing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. Growing up I learned for myself the truth of this gospel. After graduating high school I have seen many different paths my friends have taken in life wether they are Mormon or not. I have realized that those friends who have stayed (or joined) the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have a more appreciation for life. By following the guidelines given by the church through revelation I have seen my friends be filled with joy and their lives are free from any worldly contention. I love being a Mormon, it's what makes me so happy. I know that I will live with my family for all time and eternity, what greater blessing is there then that! Read the Book of Mormon, pray about it, and ask wether the book is true. I did it. And I received a strong and beautiful confirmation by the Holy Ghost that it is true. I am proud to say that "I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it."

How I live my faith

Starting February 27, 2013 I will be serving a mission in Southern Houston Texas speaking Spanish. I cannot think of any better way to share my gratitude, love, and appreciation for all my Savior has done for me then to give up just 18 months of my life. I know this church is true and just with that simple knowledge is why I want to go and share this gospel with others so they may feel of the love and happiness this true church can give them.
