Hi I'm Weston Hanks

I grew up in Utah. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 17 year old kid that lives in Utah. Right now I am just going to school and working on my education. I am working on graduating High School with my Associate's Degree. I work hard and I can't wait to accomplish my goal. One thing you have to know about me is that I love sports. I play just about any sport you can think of. I play baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, and mess around in other sports as well. I also love the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, boating, and anything that can get me outside! I'm just a normal kid that loves having fun, especially with my friends and super close family!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as an LDS member my whole life. Over time I have come to understand this gospel more and love it! I have grown my own testimony of His church and am so happy that I can say that I know that it is true. It has come to mean a lot to me. It has helped me to make crucial decisions in my life and has comforted me in times of need. It has been a solid foundation on which I can stand and be comfortable in what I believe in. I don't know where I would be without this gospel and am overjoyed that I have it in my life!

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by going to church and seminary and trying my hardest to live in the way that they teach me. I home teach a few families in my neighborhood with my dad and especially love looking after a few of the single sisters in our ward. I try to do service as much as possible and try to help people if I can. I am currently reading the Book of Mormon to try to gain more insight about our Heavenly Father's gospel. I have recently received my mission call to Mexico and can't wait to go serve the people there and the Lord! I love Him and I love this church!
