Hi I'm Kassidy

I love life. I love being happy. Family is everything to me. Adventure is what motivates me. And... I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My motto is Hakuna Matata; don't stress it :) I love the outdoors! I grew up going camping, hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, etc. I also love playing and watching sports (Soccer is always at the top of the list). I go to Utah State University (Aggies!!) and want to go into Sociology. My hobbies include eating chicken and cheese, listening to music, watching people do embarrassing things, hangin with the homies and the fam, pretending to know how to dance, and sleeping. Fun fact: At least once a day the thought "Life's a trip man" goes through my head. So live it to it's fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon learning and growing in this gospel. I choose to continue following His gospel because of the happiness it has brought me throughout my life. I am not perfect but with this gospel and everything it contains I can feel that peace and strength every day to help me rise up from those mistakes I have made. I know that this is the true church. I have asked and have had confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it is true. The peace, strength, and happiness that comes from living this gospel is indescribable and incomparable.

How I live my faith

There are a lot of ways I live my faith. First, I've dedicated 18 months to serve in the Mississippi Jackson Mission because I know that by doing so I will learn how to better apply my faith into my life and I'll be able to help people learn how to do that also! I live my faith by doing what I preach (definitely not perfect at it). "Living" this faith isn't easy but it's worth it. To live this faith takes dedication, diligence, patience, and humility. To live this faith takes.. well... faith. So, I study the scriptures, I repent, I pray, I go to church and every day I try my best to be an example of what I know to be true. I lean on Jesus Christ every minute of my life; that's the only way I'm able to truly live my faith.
