Hi I'm Casey

I'm from Sunnyvale, California. I am a student at BYU. I am currently serving a mission in Tahiti. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student in Utah, and I grew up in California. I am passionate about music, and I play the guitar and piano. Writing and playing music is one of my favorite things to do, and is a great way to express myself. I love to snowboard and skateboard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings and principles of the church bring the ultimate happiness and assurance in my life. It all started when I read the greatest book that anyone could ever read, next to the Bible, which is of course the Book of Mormon. Because of its testimony of Jesus Christ and its teachings, I found true peace in my life and I know without a doubt that it is true. I know that there is more to life than the tangible aspects of this world we live on, and that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, His children, and wants us to return to Him to live eternally along with our families. Growing up in the church, I have come to learn over time just how much the gospel changes lives for the better. It is my will as a missionary to teach others and bring them the good news of the church. I know that we have a savior Jesus Christ who died and atoned for every one of our sins, so that we may overcome any mistakes and become more perfect. All these things push me to be a better person every day, and it brings me hope in such a doubtfull world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just being happy. I love participating in many church activities and diligently fulfilling my responsibilities. As part of fulfilling my church calling, I need to serve as a leader and an example to those in my ward and serve my friends with love. I am currently to serving a mission, and through teaching others the gospel I am able to abide by its principles more fully. Showing my love for others through service and teaching helps me realize the happiness that the principles of the church bring.
