Hi I'm Lia

19, college student, future missionary.

About Me

I'm a college student currently preparing to serve a full time mission. I have been called to serve in the Argentina Buenos Aires North mission. I love the outdoors, art, friends, music, animals, playing the piano, watching house hunters, cooking, skiing, swimming, hiking, and most of all, my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true and that it brings a fullness of joy. It's the simple truths of the gospel that I love: we are children of God, Christ suffered and died for us, we can repent, Joseph Smith restored the gospel on the earth, the Book of Mormon is true, we can pray to Heavenly Father, families can be together forever. I know at times when I've wanted to be rebellious or do my own thing, I haven't been as happy. People in the world can have true happiness, but this gospel brings a fullness of joy that nothing else brings. This isn't just a religion, the gospel relates to every aspect of my life. We lived with Heavenly Father before, we chose to come to this earth, and we can live with Him again. I'm so grateful that I have the knowledge of the gospel in my life and that I have the opportunity to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be better every day. That's what this church is all about, striving to be a better person by living the truths and values of the gospel.
