Hi I'm Kyle Batson

I'm from San Diego. I'm an athlete. I speak Russian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am serving a mission in Siberia, Russia Novosibirsk Mission, to be exact. I come from a small family of 4, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. Before the mission I was training to Box, and a little bit of Muay Thai. In high school I played football and basketball. I love the beach. If I could I would be there everyday!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. My parents are members, so of course I was raised Mormon. So, my whole life I have been a member. I don't know a whole lot, and I am not the smartest kid on the block, but there are a few things I do know. I know that each of us goes through challenges that we have to overcome, but I have felt the love from my Heavenly Father that reassures me that I am doing the right thing. That I have made the correct decisions in my life to get me to this point. I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers in ways that sometimes you don't want, but in the end it works out much better than you had in mind. Heavenly Father knows me much better than I know myself, and has given me a strong family in the gospel to keep me in line. I know this church is true with all my heart, and I won't ever deny that.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I am a missionary for the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so that's a pretty big way I live my faith. I know that in this point of my life I am supposed to be a representative of the church, and of Christ in Russia.
