Hi I'm Jedidiah

I come from Georgia. I love to write. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from the American South, an area full of history, culture, and people. Religion is abundant, with many different churches within a few blocks of one another at times. However, most of my life I has spent being the only member in my school. As such, I have always had be a sole representative to my friends and others, and distinguish myself from others. I am in college working on getting a degree in Biology. I plan to become a Marine Biologist, and maybe hopefully swim around with some whales! I love writing, especially poetry; the last three years of high school I won first place in the annual poetry competition. I am preparing to serve a mission in a few months; I have been called to the Brazil Sao Paulo East mission, and am looking forward to serving there!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a 3rd generation LDS member, with my grandparents being the first to join. The Gospel has always been a part of my life, guiding and directing myself and my siblings. Family is one of the most important things in my life; it is because of this that I have always stayed strong in the Faith of the Church. The great emphasis it gives on family and unity has always coincided with my own beliefs. In the troublesome and difficult times of today, the Gospel has always been a source of strength and support, propelling me through any hardship I may face. I know it is because of my commitment to the Church that I have been given such wonderful opportunities in my life, whether it be making great friends, having a awesome job, or getting the chance to travel to a whole new country. I know, that with the Gospel, I will never be alone, and that I will always have the answers to how to live a successful and happy life, and so I will always strive to be a part of such a wonderful Plan.

How I live my faith

Throughout all my years as a youth in the church, I have always been a leader. I try to stay very involved with the youth, guiding them and being an example for them to follow. I love teaching, and have taught many times for priesthood. I always encourage others to follow the Gospel, and help them in anything they may need. I try to provide service for members any time I can; I couldn't count the number of people I have helped move in or out. I continue to attend church classes every week that help strengthen my knowledge in the Gospel, and fellowship with all who are around me, and try to make friends with everyone.
