Hi I'm Anna Berbert

I'm a filmmaker. I am passionate about art in all its forms. I love life. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying filmmaking at Brigham Young University. My favorite hobby is trying new things. I love spending time with people. My favorite sport is soccer. The most relaxing thing I can think of is curling up in my hammock outside with a book. I love spending time in nature whether I'm hiking, biking, or rock climbing. I love art. There are many beautiful things in life that can't be expressed adequately with words. However....poetry, art, film, photography, and music can communicate those deep feelings that my words won't do justice.

Why I am a Mormon

Why wouldn't I be a Mormon!? I love it so much. I know that precious truths that were once lost have been restored again on the earth. These truths are contained in the Book of Mormon. Anyone can read the Book of Mormon, pray, and know for themselves that these things are true. I know that obeying the commandments brings me greater peace and lasting joy than anything else. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and watches out for me. He guides me in everything I do. I'm so grateful that his son, Jesus Christ suffered for the sins and pains of the world. This means that when I mess up I can become clean again and when I'm going through a hard time, I can be comforted and strengthened by someone who knows exactly how I feel. Isn't that beautiful? I don't know what I would do without the knowledge I have, it changes the way I live my life everyday and I'm so happy because of it!!

How I live my faith

While I've been at college I've taught a Gospel Principles class to other single adults at church. I love teaching and I learn so much from the people in my class every week. I'm about to leave on an 18 month mission to serve and teach the people of Concepcion, Chile. It's a sacrifice to leave school, friends, and family behind and to pay for the mission. BUT, it's completely worth it. I want other people to be able to have the joy that the Gospel brings me every day. I can't wait to share what I've come to know with the world.

What is faith?

Anna Berbert
A lot of people believe that God exists, but faith is more than a belief. It's believing and trusting in God enough to act on that belief. The scriptures promise that if I live the commandments I will be happy. I can demonstrate that I have faith in God, by obeying the commandments. The more I demonstrate this faith and trust, the more it grows. I can see that God is always right and I am more happy when I obey and trust him completely. Show more Show less
