Hi I'm Otuo

I am a Ghananian living in London for the past 27 years, I am retired, a full-time husband and father and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 69 years old, i have been a mini cab driver before retiring.I have wife and 7 children,i also have 13 grand children. i am a football and tennis loving person, i also go to the gym to keep myself fit. I love reading, especially the scriptures. My favourite book is the Book of Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I believe in Mormonism! I believe in the doctrine of the Church. I know it's true. It helps me to understand the purpose of life. I met the missionaries 23 years ago at the Dalston market. We made an appointment for them to come to my house. In our first meeting, after I listened to the story of Joseph Smith, I instantly knew it was true, and I felt as if I was there when the whole thing happened. I got baptised 3 months later because I wanted to get myself ready for what I'm getting myself in to, and I have never looked back since. Because I was already a Christian before, I knew that there are some false prophets in some churches, and I don't want to be deceived, so I prayed about what I've been taught, and I got my answer that they are true.

How I live my faith

I pray always, because I believe in God and his son, Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm in charge of helping the missionaries for the church in my local area. I also volunteer at the Temple on Saturdays, three times a month.
