Hi I'm Nathan Guidry

Hello, My name is Nathan, i was born in Crowley, La and still currently live here. I was Catholic, now i am a Mormon.

About Me

My History isn't the best. I grew up with my mother, father, and my sister. My Family didn't practice any form of religion. We clammed Catholic because that was socially accepted by all the population of Crowley, La. Once i hit the age of 10, i started going to many other forms of churches such as a baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, and also a non-denominational church. With me going to all these churches, it only grew my testimony that god was true, but i always new something wasn't right about all the churches. One day, my friend invited me to accompany his family to the LDS Church located in Jennings, La. I did attend and it was fa-nominal. I truly felt the spirit of God when i walked through those doors. The feeling i get was amazing. And one day, i was at my friends house and he was revealing a lesson on Baptism. so i joined and listened, and after that moment, i prayed to God if this was where i was suppose to be. And for a least a week after i prayed of this, God made many good things happen to me, such as my being more accepting of my choices, and even my grandma becoming healthier. At that moment, i knew. I soon started to receive lessons and three weeks later i was baptized and conformed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I do believe this is the true church of Jesus Christ, and i do believe that Joseph Smith was and is the prophet. I believe all the words he spoke was true, and i take them to my heart. I am a Proud Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i know this is the True church, and i know this because i prayed about it, and God answered me. This church make me complete and it make my family happy.

How I live my faith

In my branch, we teach, learn, and spread the word of God.
