Hi I'm Michael

I love the outdoors, I love tennis, skiing, and reading a good book. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm currently serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Taiwan! This means so much to me because I'm half Taiwanese. I just completed my second semester at Brigham Young University, and it was one of the best years of my life. My hobbies include skiing, playing tennis, hiking, and biking. I love reading books and spending time outdoors. I enjoy camping trips with my family, and I love backpacking, especially in Southern Utah. I played on my high school tennis team all four years of high school, and was captain for two of those years. Like most typical Mormons I play the piano! I have a small obsession with the Harry Potter series, and sometimes I pretend I'm a wizard. I LOVE to laugh, and to live life to its fullest!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the happiness that this church brings! Especially through reading the Book of Mormon and learning more about our Savior, Jesus Christ. It's so comforting to me to know that Christ is always there for us, through any trial, any affliction. I've felt His love so many times in my life, and I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything! Christ lives and he loves us. The Book of Mormon is true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought so many blessings into my life, and that's why I'm a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I'm currently living my faith by serving a mission for the church! Basically what I'm doing is helping people feel the joy that can come to their lives through this church. It means so much to me, and I want other people to feel that as well, because I know this church is true, and I know it can bless the lives of everybody so, so much. I want everybody to feel that, because I've felt it myself! Living your faith doesn't mean you have to serve a mission though. Living my faith also means trying to be as Christ-like as I possibly can. I do this through serving other people, making people smile, and just trying to be the best person I possibly can be.
