Hi I'm Challis

I'm the youngest of four children. I'm a country boy from Idaho! I love a good game of football! And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I graduated from high school last spring. I was involved in football, basketball, FFA, and a few other clubs. Two weeks after graduation I left on my mission in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. I plan to attend Utah State University when I return.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong Mormon family. As I have grown older and learned more I have only increased my love of the gospel and the blessings it brings to me. All of the doctrines in my church give me great comfort. I know that we have all been sent to this earth so that we can have the opportunity to have mortal bodies and have our agency to choose good or bad as our Heavenly Father did so that we can become like him. I know that to live with my Him again in the Celestial Kingdom we need to follow his commandments. I know that I will be judged for my works some day. I know that Heavenly Father sent his son to this earth to atone for our sins because he knew that we all would make mistakes. But our mistakes and sins can be forgiven if we have faith in Christ and repent for our sins. I know that God has restored his gospel here on earth through Joseph Smith to help us return to live with him. The Book of Mormon and the Prophets are available to us for our own benefit. I know that unless I have faith in Christ and his atonement and do all I can to show my love of God that I will not be accepted into his glorious kingdom.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by telling others how much I love it and how much it has blessed my life. We are all commanded to bring others into the church so that they too can enjoy the happiness and joy that it brings. That is why I made the decision to serve a full time mission.
