Hi I'm Tyler Allison

I'm from Austin, Texas. I live for freedom and self expression. Music and snowboarding are my passions.. I'm a Mormon. Yeah Buddy!

About Me

My name's Tyler. I grew up in Austin, Texas my whole life and am currently serving a mission in Jacksonville, Florida! I love snowboarding, playing guitar, listening to and making new music, basketball, and a million other things. I love my religion and love using it to improve myself every day! I like to step back and look at the little things in life, but am fascinated when I think about the grand scheme of it all. I love making new friends and developing relationships with the people around me. Having the freedom to be who and what I want to be has made me who I am; I thank God for that blessing every day. I always live each and every day to the fullest!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the church is true! That and everything that the church teaches, despite what rumors and misconceptions lead people to believe, gives me the most happiness in my life. I also know that God loves me and everyone else in this world so much that even in the darkest of times, we can still find His light and love if we search for it. This church and lifestyle have changed my life and continue to change it every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person i can, living the principles that I've been taught from a young age. I apply everything i know to my life and it strengthens my testimony every day because i can see the benefits of living what I'm taught! I've also found a certain quote valuable throughout my life that says something along the lines of "those in life who are not tested are not worth testing." I've noticed that the amount of trials in our lives directly parallels our potential and the trust our Father has in us individually. When hard times come my way, I have learned to strengthen my faith rather than running away from it.
