Hi I'm Bo

My name is Bo McCullough. I grew up in Oregon in a family of seven. I love to make others smile and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am blessed to be able to do several things. I love to run, hike, surf, bike, and play the acoustic guitar. I was raised by both of my parents who were/are wonderful examples to me. In high school I loved to do sports. I was a three-sport-athlete for 3 years, and a four-sport-athlete for 1 year. The sports I participated in were cross-country, soccer, basketball, and track. I've been blessed with a very healthy body and have even had the chance to run a marathon with my sister without training. I have also participated in Boys Scouts, and earned the rank of an Eagle Scout in 2011. I graduated high school in 2012 and so far have attended one semester of college. I love to spend time with my family and friends, and love to help others who need a boost. I am blessed to be able to participate in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or commonly known as the Mormon church, and have been a member all of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know that God the Father and Jesus Christ are not far away to us, but draw nearer to those that seek help and guidance, and are very aware of each and every one of our joys and sorrows. Christ's sacrifice for us has given hope to all mankind and his love has ensured that all people can return to him. I am a Mormon because when I live my life in the way that is in line with what the Lord Jesus Christ, I feel peace, confidence, and joy. I know that anyone who wants to feel these things can feel them by learning the principles of the gospel of Christ. I encourage anyone who is on this website to feel free to ask questions that will help you understand and learn more about this wonderful religion. I cannot guarantee that I will know the answer to every question asked, but I do welcome you to ask them anyway, and I will answer what I can.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to be someone who reflects the teachings and the lifestyle of Jesus Christ and his love for us asas God's children. I am not perfect, but I have been given the opportunity to serve many people in the church. I have voluntarily served in several offices in young men priesthood positions from when I was 12 all the way until I was 18. I was able to help serve my fellow teens which was a wonderful experience. Now within the last year I was able to help in teaching children in the church which was a new experience for me... I have discovered a love for teaching these children and love to spend time with these kids. As I went through high school I had several experiences and met several people of different backgrounds, inside and outside of the church. I did my best to be friendly and kind to these people and everyone around me. It wasn't always easy to be in high school, and I had many down moments like most every other teenager. I had to rely on my beliefs to get me through some challenging times. One thing I learned in my experiences though was that the challenges that I faced were not impossible to overcome, and that no matter how dark current trials in life may be at the present time, there is always a bright hope in a future that is centered around Jesus Christ. I have come to know that Christ is not far away, but as near as he can be, and is very aware of each and every one of our joys and sorrows. His sacrifice for us has given hope to all mankind and his love has ensured
