Hi I'm Charles Aldrich Strange III

Yes my last name is Strange! I was Born In VA, I Play full contact sports and geek out on the computer and i’m a Mormon

About Me

Well most people think I am a little Crazy and overly outgoing, I just call it Charisma! I love to play full contact sports. I played Lacrosse for six years during Jr. High and High School. Then when I went to college I began to play Rugby. Rugby has become a passion for me and I love to play every opportunity I get! but just like everyone else who lives in Utah I find that Basket ball is following close behind as my second favorite sport. If I am not out camping, Hunting, or doing some kind of recreational activity... You can grantee you will find me connecting with my alternate personality. That is my big time Nerd Side, Ever since I was little, I have also loved playing with electronics, I built my first computer when I was about 12 and have loved being a computer designer and builder. At the same time being a true Major League Gamer. But setting a side the Worldly things I am Also Engaged to a Beautiful Woman and Amazing Fiancee, who has become the most important part of my life. I love her with all My Heart and I am Looking forward to Spending my time and rest of my life and eternity with her by my side every step of the way.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I have always thought about this question... I would say in General because my parents raised me in the church. That would be the easiest answer to tell people. I found that, not to be true since my parent gave me free agency to choose whether or not I wanted to go to church. As I have learned about the church and served a full time mission (Oslo, Norway). I found me asking myself this question, " If I have had not been raised into the church by my parents would I have joined the church when I heard about?" I came to the conclusion yes! Yes I would join this church. If I ever had a missionary teach me the gospel or a good friend share the Book of Mormon with me, I truly feel that I would have accepted it with a full and open heart and with the desire to continue to learn more and further my progression of understanding. Reading in the Book of Mormon is one way that has really helped me grow spiritually and physically as I enter my day to day trials. I know it is because I have put the Book of Mormon challenge to the test, by reading and praying whether or not to know that the Book of Mormon is true or if it is not true... I diligently searched the Scripture and Prayed often and through the Holy Ghost my answer was confirmed that the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saint was what was right for me.

How I live my faith

Well During my high school years I was never very active in the church. My parent gave me the choice to go or not. Most Sundays I would go dirt biking or play basket ball with my friends. I found that I was missing something... Something Important. I never really caught what I was missing but I knew I needed to find out what it was. I slowed down my pace and found that I needed to keep attending church. It was something that has allowed me to feel good knowing that I am doing the things the Lord wants me to do. Ever since reconnecting to the church and living the commandments I have found greater joy in my life. Even though I had given up a lot of the things that made me happy (or at least I thought made me happy). I truly have found a greater happiness in my life. I attend church as frequently as possible and follow the church standers to the best I can. I am certainly not perfect and there are times in my life I just need to get out there and do a little something fun (But not reckless). And I know that it is always Important for me to keep myself Temple worthy.
