Hi I'm Hayley

I'm a 19 year old college student. I love music, sports, and going on adventures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Shortly returning from my mission in Peru I began working as a teacher in the Missionary Training Center and have been enjoying the time I spend with the missionaries for the last year and a half. I'm the youngest of three kids and I love it, having two older brothers has been a wonderful experience for me and they teach me so much. My family is the most important thing in my life. I have a love for music and it is a part of my daily life. I play the piano, guitar, and sing. It brings me so much joy to listen to music and I'm amazed by the diversity of music. I love traveling and enjoying the wonders of this world. I try to make the most of the life that Heavenly Father has given me, and I'm thankful every day that I get to live in the beautiful world he created for us.

Why I am a Mormon

My father was a convert to the LDS church, he joined at the age of 14. My mother grew up in the LDS church, but has been converted herself through experiences she has had. Both my father and mother are amazing examples of service and love. I am not a convert to the church, but have truly been converted throughout my life as a member. I have been through many tough times and Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have helped me to get through them. I've known heartbreak, the loss of loved ones, and I understand the pains of life. I know that through Jesus Christ, who knows all of our pains, we can be strengthened and be able to live with our Father in Heaven again. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happier than anything in the world. I have felt it's truthfulness when I live the standards and keep the commandments the Lord has set. I am always so happy when I am keeping the commandments and living the standards of the church. That is why I continue to live it, because I know when I do that I will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I was raised as a member of the LDS church. Actively participating in church activities and callings has really helped me to strengthen my faith. I served a mission in Lima, Peru and loved each moment I had to spend with the people there. I try to seek opportunities to continue being a missionary as I purposefully pick seats alone on planes, try to find nonmembers within ward boundaries and by sharing my faith on social media as often as I can. As I teach at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) now I try my best to help the new missionaries feel confident in inviting and helping others to come unto Christ.
