Hi I'm Terynn

I am from St. George UT, I love school and music, I enjoy cooking and scrapbooking, I am a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been going to College for 2.5 years now. I am working towards an Elementary Education Degree. I want to be a 3, 4, 5 grade teacher. I love kids, always have and always will. I have always been able to connect with them in ways others cant. I am very crafty and I am always looking for good ways to serve others. I love volunteering at sporting events around town. I love volunteering because it gives me opportunities to connect with all sorts of people and find out what they are doing with their life. I love talking to people and getting to know them for who they are. I love the outdoors. Hiking, rock climbing and playing tennis are some of my favorite sports although I do love most of them. I have been called to serve a mission in North Carolina, and I am so grateful that the Lord sees me as one worthy enough to serve his children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for my whole live. Growing up in the church I have been taught to live by its teaching and follow the Prophets council. I have had many trials in my life that have lead me to make big decisions. I know that when I am faced with a big decision that I can ask our Heavenly Father for help and guidance and He will help and bless me. I know that as I strive to live by His teachings and follow our Savior Jesus Christ and his example, I can become more like him and closer to our Father in Heaven. I am so blessed to know that I am loved, and that I can be with my Savior and Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I have been teaching in the Nursery and Primary for the past 2 years and I love it. I get to connect with the youth in my ward and help them learn the bases of the Gospel. I love visit teaching and helping those that I visit teach. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to reach out to one the ladies I visit teach in particular. Nobody in my ward has been able to ever get a hold of her or meet with her before. But when I as given the opportunity to be her visit teacher, for some reason my companion and I were able to connect and get together with her. It has been a fun experience and I have been blessed by the ability to grow along with this wonderful sister.
