Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a Missionary. I studied Exercise Science in Hawaii. I am a professional tie-dyer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Washington State is a super great place to live. We are a big family of nine, and we like parks and biking, and celebrating Cinco de Mayo. I love me some music, especially movie scores. I like watching documentaries and eating cold cereal. I'm a university student and plan on becoming a podiatrist. I have a huge collection of wool socks. Those things are the best. My little brother and I are both serving missions right now, but he's in Chile. We are excited to talk crazy good Spanish when we're home.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has been an incredible source of happiness and strength in my life. Even through all the bad stuff, I feel like my life is still so good. Following the principles of the gospel bring me complete satisfaction in how I live and the decisions I make. As I learn more, I become more and more certain that this church is good and true. There is no doubt in my mind! I have faith in Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon, and this Restored Gospel, and am genuinely happy and feel completely fulfilled to know what I know and be a part of this.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. It's nuts! I've been reassigned here, awaiting my visa so I can head down to the Argentina Salta Mission. I look forward to spending the next eighteen months in spreading the wonderful message of this gospel!

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Rachel
Ask the missionaries! That is what they are there for. Seriously. They are willing to answer any question you might have. And if they aren't sure of the answer, they will find it and get back to you. You can find their number through the church website and set up a meeting with them. You can also find church meeting times and places where there will be tons of Mormons that you can talk with.
