Hi I'm Brielle Buchanan

I lived in Utah until I was 13 years old, and then my family moved to Wyoming because of my dad's job. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am an athlete. I played volleyball, basketball, and soccer all four years of my high school career. I was involved in concert choir and jazz choir, also I was involved in student council. I went to college for one year beginning as a nursing major and then adding military science as a minor. I didn't go back to school in the fall of 2013, but I have been working and have made the decision to serve a full-time mission. I was raised in the LDS church, and I know that I wouldn't be who I am today with out the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this gospel is true without a shadow of a doubt. Even though I was raised in the church I have been able to grow my own testimony. I know that Joseph Smith Jr. saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ in the sacred grove, and I know that he translated the golden plates into what is the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and it will help us get back to Heavenly Father. I know that we have a living prophet on this earth today and he is the mouth piece of the Lord. I love the gospel.

How I live my faith

Before I came to school I was called to be an assistant primary chorister. I was so so nervous to get up in front of those kids, but I did it and I was glad I did because when we were singing it didn't matter what I thought, those kids were having a glorious time. Then when I came to school I was called as a ward missionary. I was surprised at this call, but was excited for the challenge to teach people who were investigating. I have only been out on one lesson, and it was a great experience. I now have been working at my local grocery store with non-members and I am able to share the gospel with them by my example, and answering questions they might have.
