Hi I'm Taylor Robert Lambson

I grew up in Utah. I have been called to serve as a missionary in Retalhuleu, Guatemala. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mormon. I enjoy playing basketball, tennis, and video games. Food is a passion of mine, eating as well as cooking. Food is not only essential, but it can be transformed into an experience. I haven't done a lot of traveling, but I plan on it in the future. I was attending Southern Utah University as a Freshman, but education has been postponed due to my calling to serve as a missionary in Guatemala.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is Jesus Christ's church. Jesus Christ was the founder and creator of this church, even though Joseph Smith is often given the credit. I am also a Mormon, because I believe in the Book of Mormon. When I read the Book of Mormon, I feel happy and not worried. I feel hope for eternal life. The many prophets and apostles featured in the Book of Mormon teach of an eternal life that is filled with everlasting joy. I am a Mormon because I am seeking for a life better than this one that is filled with crime, jealousy, and hate. I am a Mormon because I want to spend eternity with my family and friends. I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches love, forgiveness, compassion, and wants me to be a learned and responsible person. These are qualities that I am seeking which make me want to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I was in leadership positions all throughout my youth in the church. I helped organize events for the rest of the youth in my ward such as campouts and weekly activities.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Taylor Robert Lambson
The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ. Just as Jesus Christ visited the people of Jerusalem and surrounding areas, he also visited the people of the Americas. The Book of Mormon is introduced with an account of an early prophet, Lehi who is living in Jerusalem around 600 B.C. Lehi is commanded my God to leave Jersusalem with his family and begin a new civilization in the promised land, which we know as the Americas. For the time leading up to Jesus Christ's visit, God continued to call prophets among this people. These prophets were commanded by God to keep a record which was later named after the prophet, Mormon who combined all of the records into one book. Show more Show less
