Hi I'm Ashley Boiteux

I'm a missionary in Sydney Australia. I'm a reading enthusiast, chocolate lover, daughter, sister, and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Ashley. I'm serving in the Australia Sydney South Mission, and I LOVE it! Honestly I am serving a mission because I know that THIS is where my Heavenly Father wants me to be. It isn't always easy, but it is the right thing. I enjoy working hard and meeting new people. I love to try new things, see new places, and read really captivating books.... some call me a nerd because I love to read and learn so much, but hey I embrace it. Serving a mission is for sure what I need to be doing at this time in my life. I love to read the scriptures and to learn of all the cool blessing that are in store for ALL of us as we obey and follow our Savior Jesus Christ. The church is true :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. This is the gospel OF Happiness! Following his gospel gives me direction and hope in my life. I know what my purpose is and how I can return to my heavenly father someday! I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is HIS church, that it has been restored to this earth today. I know that we have a living prophet and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Because I know these things to be true I gladly embrace my role as a "mormon" but more than that I embrace my role as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I may be a missionary with His name worn on my chest in the form of a little black badge, but it is MUCH deeper than that. I have his name written upon my heart. That is what it means to be a Mormon. To stand as a witness of Him at all times, in all things and in all places!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others and by trying to be a good example to all those around me! For when you are in the service of your fellowman you are only in the service of your God. I live my faith by TRUSTING! You can't get anywhere in life without a little help and luckily the big man upstairs seems to help us a lot when we learn to trust him (in otherwords have faith in him). My faith is usually a little seed in the morning when I don't want to get out of bed, but I trust God enough to get up and work hard. By the end of the day my faith is like a giant oak tree. IT IS AWESOME! We don't have to be perfect but we do have to try our very best. As we try our best God will provide the rest! I live my faith by serving others, and trusting in my Savior.
