Hi I'm Tyson Monney

I was born in Utah, I am a missionary in Anahiem, California, Vietnamese speaking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and biking. My love for music has influenced my life in a very positive way, and I even bacame the lead singer for a high school rock band. I am in my first year of college at Brigham Young University, studying Chemical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and raised by wonderful, worthy members all my life. I know that this church is the true church because of the Joy it brings me and all worthy members. I know that our Savior, Jesus Chirst atonened for all of our sins so that through Him we may return to live with our Father in Heaven for all eternity. I believe in the words of our Prophet Thomas Monson and I know that he has been called of God. I am so grateful for my opportunity to serve a full time mission in Anaheim, California, serving the Vietnamese people. I love this Church and the members of it. I love my family and say this things in the name of our loving brother, our savior, even Jesus Chirst, Amen.

How I live my faith

Being an Eagle Scout I have the opportunity to serve my community by cordinating service projects to benifit the ward I reside in. I am also a Sunday School teacher, teaching the 14-15 year old kids, and a Home Teacher teaching a couple of families in my home ward. Recently Ive been learning Vietnamese, and because I am Dyslexic this has been a very challenging trial for me. However, I know that with the Lords Help nothing is impossible! He did not call me to Speak Vietnamese to fail. As Long as I work hard and do all I can do God Will Do The Rest. This same principle applies to all other Trials. Trust in the Lord and He will lift you higher then you thought possible.
