Hi I'm Haley

I'm from Manassa, Colorado. I'm pursuing a cluster of dreams. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am in love with life! It has been too good to me. I come from a large and loving family of 8 children and I am the youngest! That means I have many nieces and nephews that are the cutest creatures on this earth. I am originally from Colorado and have been a college student in Texas studying Nursing. In November I received a call to serve an 18-month mission in the Peru Chiclayo Mission coming April 2014! I am absolutely elated. I know that God is good and gracious and has provided a path for all of His children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that now is the time that God will "gather together in one all things in Christ" (Ephesians 1:10). I have witnessed miracles that testify of the truthfulness of the doctrine and Spirit of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Because of the love that God has shown to me, I know I cannot make the sacrifice of Jesus Christ inapplicable to my own life. I know that God loves every one of his children, and because I know I am His child, I must follow his blueprint. I know there is one path, and that there is no other way for man to be with God but by this path. I've had small and simple testimonies wrought in my heart that combined, wouldn't allow me to deny the very real power of God. I have observed the patterns in my life and those that I love. Patterns of righteousness lead to happiness and patterns of wickedness lead to sorrow. That is a principle of the Gospel that I have learned very personally. I know that He is the source of all good power and even the least of that power in my life allows me success. It is a prioritized goal of mine to do my part in coming in the "unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God," and inviting others to Jesus Christ so we may all be rooted in the love of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by obeying God's commandments. Church is the greatest place to attend weekly. There, the Spirit of God can renew me as I partake of the Sacrament and find ways to serve others. I am a ward missionary in a congregation of single college students and I love to meet those that are seeking Christ in the everyday. I also know how to play the piano, which blessing has allowed me to be uplifted by and immersed in music. During the week, I try to be as involved as my time will allow--making sacrifices at times--with the opportunities there are to come closer to Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father!
