Hi I'm Connor

I'm always happy. I love taking pictures. I'm a photographer and a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old. I have lived in Utah my whole life and have seen most of it because of my Dad. My Dad takes me on wild adventures which include: backpacking up steep mountains, hiking down treacherous canyons, and blazing trails through dense forest areas. I have learned a lot from my Dad but I think the most important thing that he has taught me is how to work hard. This will help me greatly on my mission. I am called to serve in the Salvador, Brazil Mission and will depart for the CTM in Sao Paulo, Brazil on April 3rd if my VISA comes on time. So right now my free time consists of studying for my mission, taking pictures, and being with my friends and family. I have never been on an airplane and will be dropped off at the airport for my mission… Wish me luck!

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is because I receive a fullness of heart and peace of mind that I have never been able to feel or find anywhere else. What I believe and know about this Church is the same thing. I believe that no matter where I am in the world my Father in Heaven hears my prayers! I know that my Savior and Redeemer died for me! I believe and know that my Father in Heaven LOVES ME and wants me to return to him! He has given me the strength and courage that I have needed to withstand every trial. I know that my Father in Heaven has a plan for me. I am a divine son and child of God. I have no doubt in my mind that what I feel, believe and know is true. This is the only true Church and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions. I do my best on a daily basis to be an ambassador for Jesus Christ. I am excited for the opportunity to be able to be a full-time ambassador for the Lord by serving the Brazilian people. I know that living your faith may be hard at times. Using me for example; I am leaving my family for 2 years to go to a place where I am unfamiliar with their culture and do not know how to speak the language very well. I know that a small act of faith blesses the lives of millions of people. I do not know yet my Heavenly Fathers reason for sending me to Brazil but I know my reason. I am going to Brazil to share the gospel to people that need it. So that they can find the happiness and comfort that the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me. I want them to experience the change in their lives that I have experienced when I gained my testimony. Faith is the foundation of this Church. It is my foundation. I stand to help others just as my Savior has helped me! I am an ambassador of Christ!!
