Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up in Sandy, UT. I am a missionary in Federal Way, Washington. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up my family was influenced by sports, mainly wrestling and football. I did both for most of my life. While attending Jordan High School, I was on there varsity wrestling team from my freshman year to my senior year. As a senior I was team captain. I was also apart of Student Government at Jordan all three years.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was young I just followed my parents to church and just kind of went with the flow. I didn't know why or what I was doing at church. It wasn't until I was older when I was finally able to dive into the scriptures and participate in church. I was able to gain a stronger testimony through finding out if the LDS or Mormon church was true. I found this knowledge in reading both the Bible and Book of Mormon. I always kept an ear open to hear what other churches believed, and I found that the Mormon church just made so much sense. I now know the Joseph Smith and Thomas S. Monson are true prophets. I know that Jesus came to this earth and atoned for our sins and that we may return to live with God someday. I know this and so much more through personal scripture study and prayer.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church I found myself having many different church callings. I was president of my 14-15 year old quorum and served as the first assisstant in my 16-18 year old quorum. I was a sunday school teacher and home teacher, but now I am called to serve as a full time missionary. I participated in scouting my whole life and I am now an eagle scout.
